In our second kids workshop in December 2022 we have pomised kids to conduct next workshop around Easter. We are planning to have a 3-4 hours kids workshop on 1st May (Monday/Holiday) with following goals:

  1. Kinderbibliothek
  2. Team Building exercises
  3. Hindi/Sanskrit/Regional Language tips and tricks
  4. Games
Food/Snacks will be povided to kids from Mandir.

It will be a combined workshop of Bal Pushp Vatika and Bal Sanskar Vatika. Workshop will be conducted if at least 10-15 kids will participate.

Summary Kids Workshop 3.0 (01.05.2023)

  • All together 35 kids have joined the workshop ranging from 4 year to 15 years.
  • Few kids came to mandir at 10:30 Hrs with an intention to help us in Workshop setup (Do we grown up think that we should come early to help setup??).
  • Majority of kids came on time. (We can learn this from kids to respect the time and join mandir events on time)
  • Workshop began by praying and taking blessings from god individually one by one.
  • Every kid gave his/her introduction in Hindi with their expectation/wish from the workshop.
  • Kids expectations were grouped in 5 major groups (Games, Painting, Kinderbibliothek, Helping others and activities)
  • Few team building games were played in six small groups
  • Half team helped in progressing Kinderbibliothek project and others showed their talents in sketching/paintings
  • Just before lunch kids got introduced to the concept of Aatma and related Shlok from Shri Bhagwadgita (nainan chindati shastrani… from chapter 2)
  • Kids had enjoyed their much awaited highlight of the day, Margarita and Veg Pizza. Almost all kids showed their love for margarita still enjoyed veggie pizza happily.
  • Post lunch kids sang a motivational song “Ham sab bhartiya hai, apni manzil ek hai….”
  • Next game activity was played by kids with full enthusiasm with many variants (Reaching goal with closed eyes alone or in group)
  • As second last activity sanskrit Shlok compition between two groups were conducted and the result was a draw
  • As last activity each kid shared his feedback and good/bad experiences. Kids were much honest than most of us in telling the things which they did not like
  • Finally a group picture was taken. (Anya and Vanya were missing in pics as they left a bit eearlier due to other commitments)
  • We found this workshop as a more learning experience for elders than preaching kids.
  • Mostly kids were disciplined except few occasions (Less engagement/hunger…). We grown ups are way less disciplined during Maasparayan or Mandir Aarti.
  • Most of the goals set up at the beginning of Workshop were achieved.
  • Those who could not join due to some reasons were missed.
  • We must accept that all the kids are true angels with an ocean of innocent love and affection.

This workshop was impossible without the parents who brought their lovely kids to mandir and whole team who supported us throughout the workshop.

Looking forward for many such events in the future.

Your Mandir Family

बेस्ट एक्टिविटीज थी hats off you Temple TEAM🤗🤗
