- As a new initiative we will be celebrating RAVAN DAHAN on VIJAY DASHAMI (12.10.2023 Saturday)
- On 03.10.2024 we will be preparing the Ravan Meghnad and Kunbhkaran
- All kids are invited with their colors to prepare the faces of RAVAN and his brothers
- Please mark your name in the survey so that we can make necessary arrangements
- Workshop will take place only when the participation will be more than 10
- Any kid above 4 years can participate in the Workshop
- The workshop is from Mandir and there is no FEES for participation
Guidelines and Information
Whole Ravan Dahan project has three components
Component 1:
- Procurement of all materials (Wood, Cartoons (For 12 Faces), Colors and other decoration stuffs)
- Wood will be organised by Amit Bhagat Ji
- We need Hard Cartoons for 12 Faces
- Guidance is required from our artistic and creative sisters about colors their quantities and decoration stuffs
- We are sure our sisters will extend their hand of support
- Since tomorrow is a holiday we have to purchase stuffs today only
Component 2:
- Preparation of Structure (Prepared under the leadership of Amit Bhagat Ji)
- Structure will be prepared tomorrow from 11:00 Hrs onwards
- It can run parallely with component 3
- Volunteers who can assist in structure preparation please let us know
Component 3:
- Prepare 10 Faces of Ravaan, one Face of Indrajeet and one for Kumbhkaran from Cartoons
- We also need few team leaders who work with kids to prepare faces
- Volunteers who wish to work in component 3, please let us know
- Component 3 will begin from 13:00 Hrs Onwards

Summary: Vijaydashmi Special Kids Workshop 6.0: 03.10.2024
- This was our sixth kids workshop.
- The exceriences of every kids workshop is very satisfying and make us richer and richer
- 34 Kids have participated in the workshop
- Interestingly 40% kids participated in workshop were not from our Bal Vatika
- This Mandir is Ramji’s home and all kids were welcomed with open arms and hearts without any FEES or obligatory commitment
- Kids have learned about Navratri, Navdurga, Dussehra and its connection with Durga mata and Ramji
- They have also learned the reasons of celebrating Navratri
- Kids were introduced to all 9 names of Navdurga
- They worked in teams named Shailputri, Brahmacharini, Chandraghanta, Kushmanda, Skandmata, Katyayani, Kaalratri, Mahagauri and Siddaratri
- Each team had one Mentor who guided then throughout the workshop
- Under the leadership of our multitalented sisters Shelly/Ojaswi they have prepared faces of Ravaan, Meghand and Kumbhkaran
- It was interesting to see that many elders have became kids again and lived their childhood again and engaged themselves with great enthusiasm to prepare Dussehra Ravan
- Enthusiasm, Teamwork and coordination work harmony was just incredible among kids and teams
- Other parents have engaged themselves in preparing food and providing other support
- The environment, support and workshop vibes were infectiously positive and blissfull
- Soon we will be starting our LaghuRamLeela preparations and looking forward for more constructive engagements with our kids.
